I have a few tips to help your day go as smoothly as possible and for me to have the chance to give you the best photos possible of your day.
When should I book my photographer? I recommend booking your wedding photographer if possible 9-12 months in advance.
Consider the time of day you are getting married. While I do use a speedlite for reception + ceremony photos if needed I am a natural light photographer. The images you see on my website are usually taken in the couple hours before sunset. I do prefer doing your formal images outdoors. Planning your ceremony to end a couple hours before sunset or going for a private first look session is something you may want to consider to ensure we get the best photos possible. I understand that because of weather or time of year outdoor pictures may not be possible. Please be sure to check with your venue that an adequate area for formals will be available.
Depending on the size of your wedding party formal images of the entire bridal party can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. We may be able to accomplish some of the photos before hand if you are having me photograph your bridesmaids getting ready. I do require that the bride + groom spend a minimum of 15 minutes alone with me for pictures together. Please plan accordingly for the time frames mentioned above.
Check with your wedding planner, venue event coordinator + DJ/Band and get a schedule down of the big moments at your wedding. Having a time schedule for events makes the night go much smoother .
Letting your family members that will be in formal photos know ahead of time where they will need to be + when. Many times photos run late because of miscommunication. I want to get you to your reception + guests as quickly as possible.
About 30 days before your wedding I will send a final questionnaire out with all the last minute details. Please be sure to get this back to me.
The turnaround time for your images is typically 8-10 weeks.


All Wedding Packages include the time, talent & travel of the photographer. { Travel fees may apply for certain areas } It also includes a second shooter/assistant to the photographer. Each package includes your edited images on a disc with printing rights for you to print as you need.
Each package also includes a complimentary mini engagement session. You will be spending a good portion of your wedding day with me and I want us to be as comfortable as possible with each other. An engagement session gives us the chance to get to know each other, have fun, chit chat and you get photos to use for announcements, save the dates or your wedding day.
*The engagement session is complimentary and may not be substituted. Choosing not to take advantage of your engagement session does not reduce the price of your package choice.
*** A signed contract and 30% non~refundable deposit is required to hold your wedding date. The balance of your package is due 30 days before your event.
How much coverage will you need? When deciding how much coverage you will need take into consideration the tips I have mentioned above. Also will you want pre-ceremony pictures? Do you want coverage of the entire reception? If you opt for your coverage to start when your ceremony starts please know that I will arrive a half hour prior to the start of the ceremony to go over the venue and set up. Coverage starts when I arrive.
